Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how #NEXUS ARK („we“, „us“, „our“) handles information when you visit nexusark.net (the „Site“) or use our community services, including our Discord server and the Tip4Serv-powered shop at shop.nexusark.net.

2. Hosting & Server Log Files

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser sends, such as browser type and version, operating system, referring page, IP address, date and time of the request. This data is used solely to ensure the stable and secure operation of the Site and is not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the Site to function, and a local cookie-consent preference stored in your browser (via localStorage) to remember your choice. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Our site links to third-party services we do not control, including:

Discord — our community server. Discord’s own privacy policy applies to any account or data you provide there.
Tip4Serv (shop.nexusark.net) — our in-game shop provider. Any payment or order data is handled directly by Tip4Serv under their own privacy policy, not by us.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties before using their services.

5. The NEXUS Bot (Chat Widget)

The chat widget on this Site runs entirely in your browser (client-side). Messages you type into it are not transmitted to or stored on our servers, and no personal data is collected through it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Since this Site collects minimal personal data (primarily technical server logs), most requests will relate to data held by our hosting provider or the third-party services listed above. For questions, use the contact details on our Impressum page.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated „Last updated“ date.
